We’ve got another great fall weekend in Central Virginia!

As we make it through the last weekend before our Presidential Election, we’ve got a lot going on in Central Virginia this weekend.  Also, Daylight Savings Time ends at 2:00 AM on Sunday morning as we roll our clocks back to 1:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.  Don’t forget to change your clocks and smoke alarm batteries!

Once again Charlottesville, Virginia host the Virginia Film Festival this weekend.  Come out and enjoy one or more of the great films and/or associated events!

I can use the extra hour of sleep Saturday night/Sunday morning, since I’ll be getting up early Saturday morning and heading into the woods for the opening day of black powder deer hunting season.  We’re hunting some new land this year!  If you’re looking to buy some Central Virginia hunting land, let’s talk.  I’ve got two great parcels listed for sale and have seen several others.

Don’t Forget to Wear Your Blaze Orange in the Woods

If you’re going out into the woods and/or fields, don’t forget to wear your blaze orange.  Even if you’re taking a hike or looking at property, be safe outside this time of year.

Trunk or Treat

If you’re near Zion Crossroads, Virginia, join us Sunday from 4-6 PM for Trunk or Treat at Zion United Methodist Church.  Due to Hurricane Sandy we moved the event to this weekend.  We’ll have lots of fun events!  I’ll be helping with the marshmallow roasting for smore’s, so please stop by and say hello! Also, thank to our good neighbors the Louisa County Sherriff’s Office and Zion Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department for helping out.  There will be parking in the field across from the church.

Join the Stig for hot dogs, smore’s, games, rides, and lots of fun at Trunk or Treat!!!

Have a great weekend and be safe out there!
