What to do for fun this weekend? Don’t forget, it’s the second weekend of the Highland County, Virginia Maple Festival. If you’ve never been, head over and enjoy some great maple donuts while learning how we make maple syrup in Virginia.

Also, Zion United Methodist Church in Zion Crossroads continues to take donations through noon on Friday for Saturday’s Tag Sale (8 AM to 1 PM) . If you have finished with some books (we got several boxes of books together to take) or have some exercise equipment, furniture, etc. that you are not using, please consider donating to the tag sale. Come out on Saturday and buy back the things of yours your spouse donated or items from someone else!
Since Saturday will be St. Patrick’s Day, I’m heading to McGrady’s Irish Pub to hear a friend’s band at 5 PM. Come on down and join in the fun! On the 17th, everyone becomes Irish!!!
