We’re into college football season so many readers may be watching football this weekend. I’ve got work appointments on Friday and Sunday with Saturday remaining open so I may even get to watch my 1st college game of the season this weekend. How about you? Will you be watching football this weekend?
Virginia vineyards continue to produce great wines. With this year’s harvest underway, we have some new wines to look forward to enjoying. This Saturday Cooper Vineyards will host Yale (60’s music) with wine tasting & sales. If you’re looking for something fun to do check out Cooper Vineyards and their new tasting room.
On Sunday the Thompson Hall Lodge No. 5 of the Fraternal Order of Police will be holding their annual picnic and I plan to stop by. We had a great time at last year’s
picnic. I’ve been helping Bob Romanac raise some funds to add to their Benevolence Fund. The Lodge will also be publishing a history of the Charlottesville Police
Department this fall and they are looking for $100 sponsors. If you’re interested in supporting the FOP in either endeavor, please let me know and I’ll get you in touch with the right person.
Do you know of other interesting events going on this weekend? If so, please post a comment and share the event info so the rest of us can take advantage and possibly
attend. Also if you have real estate questions, please ask. I am here to help! The only
bad questions remains the one you do not ask. Have a great weekend!
