Looking for something fun to do on Saturday before the snow, rain and ice predicted for Sunday? Head out to Orange County’s Montpelier and check out the Gilmore Farm and Cabin. It’s scheduled to be open this weekend.
Or head out to Louisa County’s Cooper Vineyards for the Mardi Gras celebration from 11-5 PM ($15 in advance & $20 at the door). Either way Saturday looks like a great day to get out and about. I am planning to start a pot of black beans seasoned with venison sausage Saturday evening to enjoy no matter the weather on Sunday. Have a safe and fun weekend!
