Virginia Homes Farms Land visiting Chiles Peach Orchard
Looking for something fun to do the weekend of June 25/26 2011? Head over to Chiles Peach Orchard just west of Crozet, Virginia. With pick your own strawberry season over, the pick your own peach season has begun! Picking peaches makes for a great outdoor event. For those who don’t want to roam the orchard selecting the perfect peaches, pre-picked peaches, peach ice cream & yogurt, plus other delectable treats continue to be sold in the market. If you’re looking for an orchard closer to Charlottesville, Virginia, check out Carter’s Mountain Orchard on the way to Monticello & Michie Tavern, just south of I-64. Enjoy the views of Charlottesville, The University of Virginia and surrounding countryside from the observation deck behind the Carter’s Mountain Store (they usually have in season peaches for sale!). Get out, explore the back roads and enjoy one of our local orchards this weekend.
