Are you interested in Central Virginia government and following different boards to see how their decisions affect you? Are you familier with the Free Enterprise Forum? If not, check out their site. Neil Williamson and the other great folks attend the meetings posting reports to their blog so you don’t have to attend them all! I follow the posts and contact my elected officials when I have questions or want to let them know how I feel about an issue. The Free Enterprise Forum just released a Local Government Spending index. For my Louisa County friends this report contains info on Louisa County spending trends (Look for more Louisa County info in the future). The City of Charlottesville plus the Counties of Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, and Nelson are also featured.
