We got a long weekend with the Mineral Bluegrass Festival running Thursday through Saturday. Head over to the Palmyra Volunteer Fire Company Saturday for Little Firefighter Day from 10 AM to 1 PM. Also on Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM, you can enjoy the Change for Change Carnival at Legacy Horse Training (Eastern View Farm – 2452 Poindexter Road, Louisa, Virginia 23093) where three Trevilians Elementary School 3rd Graders have a goal of raising $15,000 for a community well in a third world country, pretty cool!
Que and Cruz by the Lake
Additionally Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM, Small Country Campground will be hosting 2012 Que and Cruz w/ BBQ, car show, music and more all to benefit the Zion Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department and the Small Country Children’s Christmas Fund. Saturday and Sunday also feature Viette’s Beautiful Gardens’ Daylilies and Wine festival so head over on Sunday from Noon to 5 PM. Enjoy your weekend!
