We’re keeping an eye on the approaching Hurricane Sandy nicknamed Frankenstorm. Be prepared for the storm and stay safe. Pre-Halloween celebrations seem to be filling up the weekend agenda in Central Virginia from Wineries to Restaurants. A few years ago we got a fig tree from Edible Landscaping in Nelson County, Virginia. This Saturday Edible Landscaping hosts a Persimmon Festival, so we may drive over and get a couple of persimmon trees!
