Central Virginia Weekend Events 8/24-26

The University of Virginia gardens may be the only quiet spot on Grounds as students students return to Charlottesville (1st year students move into the dorms  Friday & Saturday).  Traffic should increase as parents drop off students plus visit local stores for supplies and restaurants for meals.  Welcome back students!

Yoder’s Market has Goats!

We’re going to try to avoid town on Saturday with a visit to Madison County’s  Yoder’s  Country Market.  Before and after stocking up on baking supplies, we enjoy watching the goats and other animals.

On Sunday, I’ve got a few work appointments scheduled in the afternoon plus some yard work!  This is a great time of year to work on your yard.  Check out the Virginia Cooperative Extension web site for lots of great information and ideas!  As always, have a great weekend.  Please add fun events as a comment!
