It’s the Christmas Season
With the 1st of December comes Christmas Parades, Open Houses, Bazaars, etc. On December 1st from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Salem United Methodist Church in Fluvanna County, Virginia holds a Christmas Bazaar. While in Fluvanna, check out Cuppa Joe (a Key West style coffeehouse) for hot and cold beverages, a great assortment of jelly beans, other treats and cool place to relax.
Zion United Methodist Church
Zion United Methodist Church in Troy (Greater Zion Crossroads Metropolitan Area!) holds Upward Basketball and Cheer from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday (there has been lots of interest in this program!).
Wear Blaze Orange in the Woods
It’s still hunting season in Virginia so please wear some blaze orange if you’re going in to the woods, fields or other areas where people might be hunting. Better safe than sorry!
Carter’s Mountain Apple Shed
It’s soon to be the last weekend for fun at Carter’s Mountain Apple Orchard this year (already looking forward to next season and see what new items will be added). If you haven’t been this year or need to stock up on apple donuts, get out this Saturday or Sunday. The views have been great the last two weekends.
