Zip-Insulation Blanket for Pull Down Stairs
During this week’s Sustainability Training for Accredited Real Estate Professionals (S.T.A.R.) course I learned a lot of interesting energy saving and “Green” building and remodeling techniques. One of the coolest (no pun intended) featured a zippered insulation blanket for pull down stairs. This helps stop the hot air form seeping down from the attic in the summer and the warm home air from escaping into the attic during the cool winter months.
