Escape to Lake Anna, Virginia

Playing in the water at Lake Anna

I don’t know about you but day after day of 90*+ temperatures have me ready to head to Lake Anna, Virginia to play in the Lake!  With public marinas, campgrounds and a State
Park
, Lake Anna provides plenty of opportunities to access the Lake if you don’t own property at the Lake or have friends who own.  Created to provide cooling water for nuclear reactors, the Dominion Power Visitors Center also provides a nice informative
tour while at the Lake.  Lake Anna remains a fisherman’s paradise with many people traveling to the Lake just to fish.  For me I think I’m going to have to jump into Lake Anna this Saturday or Sunday just to cool off.  If you’re looking for something fun to do this
weekend, head to Lake Anna and go jump in the Lake!
