Check out the Virginia Department of Forestry’s web site for info on Fall Fire Season (Oct. 15 to Nov. 30).  Remember these are the state rules, your locality may have additional rules, requirements and/or permits so check before you burn.  Better safe and than sorry plus we don’t want to make Smokey the Bear angry with us!

  1. On December 3, 2012 the Virginia Department of Forestry announced the extension of the Fall Fire Season to December 10, 2012 due to the lack of rain across the Commonwealth.
