If you ever visit Camp Karen (our home near Zion Crossroads, Louisa County, Virginia) you’ll know we love reading and books. Every room contains books! We have built in book shelves, antique book cases, 2nd had bookcases, boxes of books in the basement waiting for more shelf space and books stacked in the bedroom closet. One of our favorite book events every year remains the Friends of the Jefferson-Masison Regional Libarary Book Sale in Charlottesville. The sale runs April 2-10 in 2011 iwth 1/2 price days on April 9 & 10. If you love books like we do, please visit the sale and support our local libraries!
Saturday and Sunday this week are the last two days of the sale and all books are 1/2 price. Karen and I spent some time at the sale today and left with two bags of books for a whopping $10.25! In addition to books for us, we got books for Karen’s mom and our grandchildren. There are thousands of books still available so head down to the sale if you need some reading material!
