Time to pick some apples!
Last weekend Karen and I stopped by Carter’s Mountain Orchard finding plenty of delicious local apples and other treats! Located adjacent to Michie Tavern on the way to Monticello in Albemarle County, Virginia, the orchard make a great quick stop or afternoon event. This weekend the orchard hosts an Apple Festival with activities for all age groups. While you’re there try the apple donuts and check out the views of Charlottesville from the observation deck.
