Stonefire Kitchen, Barboursville, Virginia – Yummy Food!
Looking for a fun event this weekend? Since it’s my mother’s birthday on Saturday, we’ll be celebrating with my parents. We plan to take them to Stonefire Kitchen (great sandwiches from Virginia ham to smoke salmon plus delicious vegetarian items!) in Barboursville, Virginia for lunch then visit a winery or two. If you’re looking to get out of the house Saturday night, Wilson Fairchild returns with an acoustic Christmas show in the Louisa Arts Center. On Sunday the 18th at 5 PM historic St. John’s Chapel will be holding a candlelight service of Lessons and Carols. The church, located in the Green Springs Historic District of Louisa Countyg, dates from 1888 (no electric lights!). You have to travel dirt roads to find St. John’s Chapel at the intersection of East Green Springs and East Jack Jouett Roads.
