Traveling through Virginia's forests last fall.

Usually I post about upcoming weekend events but I’m switching up this week. I wanted to let y’all know about the Virginia Forestry Associations upcoming Virginia Forestry Summit.  I continue to have a passion for forestry, wildlife and the outdoors, so I want to share related events with you.  Timber remains a major crop and industry in Virginia.  To learn more about managing your backyard wood lot or industrial timber operations in Virginia plus other wide ranging forest related topics, please check out the Virginia Forestry Associations web site and possibly attend the Virginia Forestry Summit being held this year at the lovely Wintergreen Resort in Nelson County, Virginia.

One Response to Upcoming Virginia Forestry Summit 4/26-28/2012

  1. Thanks for your post and promotion of the Virginia Forestry Summit in April. We know it will be a terrific event and look forward to seeing you there! After a busy session in the 2012 Virginia General Assembly and ongoing federal issues relevant to forestry interests, our theme, “Washington’s Impact on Virginia’s Forests” should offer some dynamic exchanges during our session!
